When you're watching lessons in a Hotmart Club course, quickly capturing key insights and important points can make a big difference in your learning experience. The Personal Notes feature lets you create digital notes directly in the video player, helping you keep your study materials organized in one place without using a separate notebook or switching browser tabs.
In this article, you'll learn where to find this feature in the new player interface, how to create and manage your notes while watching lessons, and the feature's current compatibility limitations.
What are personal notes, and how do they help?
Personal notes work as a private notebook linked to each lesson in your course. Whenever you write a note, it's automatically saved at the exact minute and second where the video was paused or playing. This means that when you review your notes later, you can click on any of them to jump directly back to the exact moment in the lesson where the instructor explained that topic, making your review much faster and more effective.
Keep in mind that all notes are completely private. No other learners or the course creator can access what you've written.
Where can I find the option to create a personal note?
The note-taking feature is built directly into the Hotmart Club video player so you can stay focused on the lesson.
While watching any video lesson, move your cursor over the player's bottom control bar. In the lower-right corner, you'll see a pencil icon. Click this button to open or close your personal notes panel.
How do I create and manage my notes during a lesson?
Creating notes is simple and fully integrated into the video playback experience.
To get started, click the pencil icon in the player's bottom control bar. A side panel or text entry area will appear on the screen.
Type your note in the available field and click Save. Your note will be saved with the timestamp that corresponds to that exact moment in the video.
If you later need to review, edit, or delete a note, simply open the notes panel again in the corresponding lesson. All notes created for that lesson will be listed in the order they were added, allowing you to edit or delete them with a single click using each note's controls.
