When purchasing a product on Hotmart with a credit or debit card, you'll need to provide some information on the checkout page so your transaction can be processed securely.
Hotmart's checkout page uses security technologies to protect the information you provide during your purchase. Your card details are used only to process your payment and help validate the transaction.

Which card information do I need to enter?
When selecting a credit or debit card as your payment method, fill in the required information on the product's checkout page:
- Card number: the number printed on your card. Enter it exactly as shown.
- Cardholder's name: the name printed on the card. Even if it's abbreviated or different from your identification document, enter it exactly as it appears.
- Expiration month and year: enter the expiration month (MM) and year (YY). Make sure your card is still valid.
- CVV: the card security code, consisting of three or four digits.
After completing all fields, review the information and click Buy now.
Where can I find my card security code (CVV)?
The card security code, also known as the CVV, is a three- or four-digit number used as an additional security measure for online purchases.
For Visa, Elo, and Mastercard cards, the CVV usually has three digits and is located on the back of the card near the signature strip. For American Express cards, it has four digits and is located on the front of the card.
Hotmart requests this code to verify your card during payment processing. This information is not stored in our system.
Can I pay in installments using my card?
If the Creator offers installment payments, this option will appear on the checkout page after you enter your card details.

What should I do if any card information appears in red?
If any field in the form appears in red, it means some information may be incorrect. A number may be missing, the expiration date may be incomplete, or an invalid character may have been entered.
In this case, review the card details and try again. Check whether the card number, cardholder's name, expiration date, and CVV were entered correctly.
