An Order Bump is a powerful tool Hotmart offers to help you increase your sales. It allows you to offer complementary products directly on the payment page, giving your customers the opportunity to enhance their purchase.
Here’s a simple example to illustrate: Suppose you're selling an online baking course. When your customer reaches the payment page, they see an offer for an exclusive e-book with beginner-friendly recipes. By adding this Order Bump, you're not only increasing your sales, but also giving your customer a more complete and satisfying experience.
❯ To set up an Order Bump, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Hotmart account at https://app.hotmart.com.
- In the left-hand side menu, click on Tools.
- Click on Checkout Builder.
- On the next screen, select the product for which you want to add a complementary offer, then click Continue.
- If you're already using the Checkout Builder feature, simply choose the page where you want to add the second product. If you're not using it yet, click here to learn how to set it up.
- With the Checkout Builder set up, click Edit.
- On the left side, select the Order Bump option.
- Click on Select product and choose the complementary product you want to offer.
- Click Insert and place your offer in the designated area.
- Click Save new page or Save changes (if your Payment Page is already active).
- Finally, click Publish, and you’re all set! Your complementary product is now live for your customers.
❯ Important notes:
- If you choose to include a product with installment payments in the Order Bump, the number of installments doesn't have to match those of the main product.
- If you already have an Order Bump set up and the main offer is in installments, the installment option will automatically be displayed to the buyer.
