FAQ
Is it possible to create livestreams on Zoom or Google Meet?
Livestreams in Hotmart's Members Area are not recommended for creators who want a live event where everyone can activate their camera, speak using their microphone, and the audience can be divided into groups (breakout rooms).
Is the video recorded automatically?
Automatic recording will depend on the streaming method used: YouTube or Vimeo. Once the recording is ready, you can make it available in the Hotmart Members Area for your students to watch as often as they like or for a period of time, whatever you prefer.
How can I sell the recording?
To sell recordings of livestreamed classes, you can create additional modules in your existing product. This way, you can make the recordings available for an extra fee, and they can all be found in the same Members Area.
What is the difference between a Livestream in the Hotmart Members Area and the Webinar tool?
The Webinar is a tool to broadcast your content live, sell your product, and capture potential buyers (leads). Livestreams in the Members Area are meant for you to deliver live content to those who are already your students as a way to add more content and value to their journey, boosting engagement and sales.
What is the difference between livestreams in the Hotmart Members Area and Online Events?
Online Events must have a start and end date, so they’ll also have a limited sales period. Livestreams in the Members Area are for online courses hosted in the Hotmart platform, whose sales period may be longer (evergreen).
