How do I close or reactivate my buyer account at Hotmart?

Hotmart allows you to close or reactivate your account at any time, whether you need to temporarily pause your relationship with the platform or wish to return in the future. Below, we explain how to close and reactivate your account.

How to close my buyer account?

Before closing your account, it is essential to be aware that you will lose access to the products you’ve purchased. It’s also important to check that you don’t have any active subscriptions or outstanding payments, as closing the account does not automatically cancel subscriptions or settle pending payments. If you have an active subscription, follow the steps described in the article How to cancel my subscription?.

Once you’ve confirmed that there are no active subscriptions or pending payments, you can request to close your account. To do this, submit a request to our support team by clicking the blue Contact us button at the bottom of this article. In the form, select Update registration data as the reason for contact, and then choose Other changes as the specification. Finally, indicate that you wish to close your account and provide the necessary details.

Attention! A request to close your account is different from a personal information deletion request. 

Closing your account only deactivates your access to our service, but some personal information may be retained, as it is possible to reactivate an account after closing it. The deletion of personal information means that all the information Hotmart has collected about you, such as your name, email, and other previously provided data, will be deleted in accordance with privacy laws, and it won't be possible to reactivate your account once this process is requested. How to reactivate my buyer account? 

If you wish to reactivate your account, simply submit a request to our support team. To do so, click on the blue Contact us button at the bottom of this article. Select the contact reason as Access to my registration, then choose I can't log in to my account as the specification. Finally, indicate that you want to reactivate your account and provide the necessary details. After submitting your request, our support team will review it to reactivate your account.
