Having a good link promotion strategy is essential if you want to ensure that your products are well-tracked and reach your audience, whether you're an affiliate or a creator. For those who have a long catalog of products, organizing all the links can be a little difficult. Imagine having all your promotional links in one place, being able to shorten and customize them?
Hotmart's Link Manager makes it easy not only to view your links, but also to organize them, track them with UTM parameters and turn them into more user-friendly links for your promotions.
How do I shorten and personalize a link?
- Log in to your Hotmart account at https://app.hotmart.com/.
- Go to Tools and Link Manager.
- Click on the blue circle with the plus symbol to start.
- Choose an existing Hotlink by clicking on Choose Hotlink or paste any link into the field.
- By clicking on Choose Hotlink a pop up will appear with a list of products you have created or are an affiliate of. By selecting one of the products you will be able to choose the links available for that product. Select the hotlink you want and click Continue.
- Enter a word that will help you identify the link you want to shorten and click Next.
- If you just want to shorten the link, click Next, and you're done. If you want to customize it, just change the text in the field highlighted in green with any word you want. Please make sure you don't use special characters.
How do I add campaign parameters to the shortened link?
After customizing the shortened link, click on Add campaign parameters to your links to configure the campaign parameters (UTMs) and fill in the desired options. After filling in the fields, click on Next, and confirm if everything is correct. Then, click on Finish.

Can I shorten any link?
Yes, you can shorten a Hotlink of a product of which you are a creator or affiliate, as well as links to alternative pages.
How are clicks calculated in the dashboard?
As the shortened link has the Hotlink tracking structure, the click is calculated every time a click is made on the customized shortened link version.
Which report do I use to track clicks on links with campaign parameters?
