How to Manage Comments in Hotmart Club?

When your course is hosted in Hotmart’s members area, each lesson includes a comment section where learners can ask questions or share suggestions. Engaging with these comments is a great way to boost interaction and improve the learning experience. The Moderation Center helps streamline this process.

The Moderation Center in Hotmart Club is a dedicated section inside your members area that lets creators and their team manage, organize, and respond to user comments on course lessons and community content.

Important: only creators or team members with the proper permissions through the Collaborators Center can access this feature. Learn how to assign permissions here.

To manage comments using the Moderation Center, follow these steps:

  1. Go to https://app.hotmart.com/ and log in.
  2. From the left-side menu, click Products, then select Members Area.
  3. Choose the members area you want to manage.
  4. In the left menu, click Moderation
  5. Use the filters to find comments from your members area. You can filter by pending, approved, hidden and spam.
  6. When you click a comment, you’ll see more details on the right side of the screen, including:
    • Course, module, and lesson names.
    • User’s name, comment date, group, and the message itself.
    • Reply status, available actions, and comment history.
  7. Click the three-dot menu next to a comment to choose how you want to manage it:
    • Approve – Makes the comment and reply visible to everyone.
    • Hide – Only the person who commented will see the reply.
    • Spam – Removes the comment from public view. It stays hidden but can be reviewed again later.
  8. To view the comment directly in the product, click See more to open the corresponding lesson.

Replying to Comments, using the Moderation Center: 

  1. On the Moderation Centers page, click on a comment, then click in Reply under the comment.
  2. Type your message and click Publish. If the comment already has a reply, a Replied tag will appear just below it.

 

 

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I approve, hide, or remove multiple comments at once?

To moderate multiple comments, click Select all, or check each comment individually. A blue toolbar will appear with icons for Approve, Hide, and Mark as spam. Click your desired action to apply it to all selected comments.

Are comment replies visible to all cohorts?

No. Comments and their replies are only visible to the specific cohort where the comment was posted.

Can I view a student’s comment history?

Yes, to view a person's history of comments and responses in a lesson, follow these steps:

  1. Log in at https://app.hotmart.com/.
  2. Go to Products > Members Area.
  3. Choose the area you want to manage.
  4. Click Moderation from the left menu.
  5. Find the comment, then click it.
  6. In the right panel, click Show to view the student’s comment and reply history for that lesson. To see it directly in the lesson, click See more.
Can I reply to multiple comments at once?

No, replying to multiple comments at once isn’t available. However, you can still approve, hide, or mark multiple comments as spam in one go. To do that, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in at https://app.hotmart.com/.
  2. Go to Products then click on Members Area.
  3. Select your desired members area.
  4. Click Moderation in the left-hand menu.
  5. Use the checkboxes to select the comments you want to manage.
  6. A blue toolbar will appear—click the appropriate icon to apply your action to all selected comments.
