What is the Sales Management feature on the Hotmart platform?

Those who want to accelerate sales of a digital product need to constantly track their results, such as the number of lost sales.

That’s why we created the Sales Management section, where you can quickly check essential data and access key information about completed and lost sales.

With just a few clicks, you can see whether your sales strategy is working and make faster decisions to improve your performance.

How can I find Sales management on the platform?

To find this section, just click this link or follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your Hotmart account at https://app.hotmart.com/.
  2. Click Sales in the left-side menu.
  3. Click Sales Management.

In this area, you’ll find key data for your business.

What information can I find in the Sales Management section?

On the left side of the panel, there are two main pieces of information:

Sold: number of sales made, that is, your gross revenue (the sum of all sales before fees are deducted). Sales are filtered by currency type.

Sales Recovery Opportunities: number of transactions that did not convert into sales.

In this section, you can download the report by clicking Export details.

When you click this button, you’ll access a report with a list of the last unsuccessful sale attempt made by the buyer for a specific product. In other words, if the same buyer tried to purchase the same product several times, the lost sales report will show only the last unsuccessful attempt as one lost sale count.

If you want to see all attempts, you can access the sales report here.

In addition to the reports, under Recovery opportunities, you’ll find 3 navigation options:

  • Discover ways to recover your sales: we make it easier for you to access Hotmart’s sales recovery tools that you can already use.
  • Reasons for declined card payments: here you’ll find information about potential customers who tried to purchase your products but couldn’t because of an issue with card payment.
  • Cart abandonment (Sales Recovery): you can access the information filled out at checkout by buyers who abandoned your products during the purchase process and contact them to recover sales.
Important: The data always corresponds to the last 7 days, and if you haven’t made any sales yet, the section won’t display any data. If you want to check another period and more details about transactions, go to the Reports section on the right side of the same screen.

On the right side of the Sales Management panel, you can quickly access the following sections:

  • My sales: transaction details, such as status (for example: awaiting payment, purchase approved, chargeback, etc.) and recovered sales for your product. You can also check who the buyers are.

  • Balance: balance available for withdrawal and details of withdrawals you’ve already made. Check your statement, withdrawal history, and advance payout history.

  • Sales Origin Dashboard: a panel to understand where your sales come from, with metrics and charts that make channel analysis easier.

  • Smart Installments Dashboard: installment tracking with metrics and charts.

  • Club: financial performance report for sales made through Club tools, such as Club Ads, New Club Display, Paid Extra Module, and Free Sign-up/Module.

  • Refunds: refund requests, status, and available actions.
