When you create a Hotmart account, some fields in your account information remain temporarily unavailable until your first sale is made. Once you've made a sale, you'll be prompted to submit required documents. After these documents are approved, you can proceed with registering your bank account to receive payments. In this article, we will explain in detail what documents are required to complete your registration on Hotmart and how to submit them correctly.
After your first sale is confirmed, the Documents option in the My account tab will become available for you to upload your documents. The required documents vary depending on the type of Hotmart account you created, either Individual or Legal Entity.

Reasons documentation may be rejected
If the documents submitted are not approved, it's likely due to one of the following issues:
- Illegible documents: blurry, out-of-focus, or poorly positioned images that make it difficult to read the data.
- Incorrect document type: submitting documents that differ from the ones listed above, including scanned documents, photocopies, or screenshots.
- Inconsistent Information: the documents submitted do not match the information registered in your Hotmart account, such as ID number.
- Irregular documents: documents with irregularities, such as expired documents.
- Missing or repeated documents: failure to submit a required document or submitting the same document twice.
