Your Hotmart account may be blocked for conduct that violates Hotmart’s Terms of Use or for security reasons. Below, we list the most common reasons that may lead to an account being blocked:
❯ Spam practices
Spam refers to electronic messages sent to people without their consent. Engaging in spam violates Hotmart’s Terms of Use, and if confirmed by our team, it may result in the permanent blocking of the responsible user’s account.
❯ Piracy-related block
A block due to suspected piracy occurs when our security system detects that a user has made several downloads or accesses of the same purchase from different IPs or networks. This block is put in place to ensure your security, as this kind of behavior might indicate that someone else is using your account.
❯ Mass registration of products
This type of block happens when a user registers multiple products that do not comply with our Terms of Use, or when the same product is registered multiple times. For more details on prohibited content for sale or promotion on Hotmart, refer to the General Policy for the Responsible Use of Hotmart.
❯ Block due to multiple login attempts
This block occurs when there are too many failed login attempts. It is done for security reasons, as this behavior might suggest that a third party is attempting to access your account.
❯ Underage user as a creator, affiliate and/or co-creator
According to Hotmart's Terms of Use, only individuals over 18 years old or legally emancipated can register as a creator, affiliate, or co-creator on the platform. If we detect that an account was created by someone who doesn’t meet these conditions, the account may be restricted from sales and affiliations, but it can still be used for purchases.
If you entered the wrong birthdate during registration or if you are emancipated, don’t worry! Simply open a request by clicking the Contact us button at the end of this article and submit documents that verify your correct birthdate or emancipation.
