How to update my Hotmart account information?
Keeping your information up to date helps ensure the security of your account and the proper functioning of Hotmart services. Some information can be changed directly on the platform. In other cases, you may need to send documents or request help from Hotmart Support.
In this article, you will find the main scenarios for updating your Hotmart account information and the step-by-step instructions for each change.
If you bought a product on Hotmart
When you make your first purchase on Hotmart, your account information is automatically filled in with the details you provided on the payment page. However, you may need to update some information later.
Click the desired option to access the step-by-step instructions for each change:
❯ Change personal information (name and address)
- Access your account at https://consumer.hotmart.com/.
- Click the round icon in the upper-right corner and select My account.
- In the Personal information section, click Edit.
- Update your social name (public name).
- When finished, click Save.
Important: make sure the information entered is correct and matches your personal details.
To change the full name, email address, or country linked to your account, Hotmart Support needs to help with the process. Check the specific articles about changing your email address and country:

❯ Change language and time zone
- Access your account at https://consumer.hotmart.com/.
- Click the round icon in the upper-right corner and select My account.
- Go to the Settings section and click Edit.
- Select the desired language and time zone.
- Click Save.
It may take a few minutes for these changes to be applied. If the changes do not appear right away, try logging out and logging back in.

If you sell products on Hotmart as a Producer and/or Affiliate
As your business on Hotmart grows, you may need to update some account information, such as profile details, address, phone number, tax information, or financial information.
Click the desired option to access the step-by-step instructions for each change:
❯ Change profile information (public social name, address, and phone number)
- Access your account at https://app.hotmart.com/.
- Click the round icon in the upper-right corner and select My account.
- In the left-side menu, click Personal information.
- Update the available information, such as public social name, address, and phone number.
- When finished, click Save changes.
Some details, such as full name, email address, and country of residence, cannot be changed directly on this screen. If you need to update this information, contact Hotmart Support.

❯ Change legal nature and tax information
- Access your account at https://app.hotmart.com/.
- Click the round icon in the upper-right corner and select My account.
- In the left-side menu, click Tax information.
- In the Personal data section, click Change.
- Update the information available for editing.
- When finished, click Save changes.
To change the legal nature or country linked to your account, you may need help from Hotmart Support.

- Access your account at https://app.hotmart.com/.
- Click the round icon in the upper-right corner and select My account.
- In the left-side menu, click Financial information.
- To register a new bank account, click New account.
- To delete a registered account, click Remove, if this option is available.
