Your password is one of the main ways to protect access to your Hotmart account. Keeping it up to date helps ensure that only you can access your information, products, and sales.
Whether you want to improve your account security or simply change your current password, you can update it directly in your account settings.
In this article, you’ll learn how to change your Hotmart account password and what happens after you do.
How do I change my login password?
If you already have access to your account and want to change your password, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Hotmart account by clicking here.
- Click your profile picture icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.
- Then click My account.
- In the left-side menu, select Privacy and security.
- In the Change password section, enter your current password and then your new password.
- After confirming your new password, click the Change Password button to finish.
Once you complete this process, your new password will take effect immediately.
What should I do if I forgot my password?
If you don’t remember the password to access your account, you can create a new one directly from the login screen.
Follow these steps:
- Go to the Hotmart login page by clicking here.
- Click I forgot my password.
- Enter the email address registered to the platform.
- Click Recover my password.
- Open your inbox and find the password recovery email.
- In the email you received, click the link to create a new password.
- Enter your new password and confirm the change.
After completing this process, you’ll be able to access your account using your new password.
If you can’t find the recovery email, also check your Spam, Junk, or Promotions folders. If needed, wait a few minutes before requesting a new email.
What happens after I change my password?
When you change your password, all active sessions on your account are automatically signed out. This means that any device connected to your account will need to log in again using the new password. This measure helps prevent unauthorized access.
It’s also recommended to check whether two-step verification (2FA) is enabled. This feature adds an extra layer of security by requiring an additional code at login. To learn more, see this article.
