How to set up and access the Collaborators Center on Hotmart?

Managing a team can be challenging, especially when different collaborators need access to specific areas of the platform without compromising security or the organization of registered information. Without the right tool, the creator might grant overly broad access, which is not always ideal.

The Collaborators Center on Hotmart is a solution that ensures account security while allowing the creator to grant access to other team members. With this tool, the creator can set up customized profiles with specific permissions for each collaborator. This way, every team member only accesses the areas necessary for their role, ensuring security and organization.

Important: No permission or collaborator profile allows changes to the account’s personal information. Access to the My Account menu is exclusive to the creator.

 

What Are the Permissions in the Collaborators Center?

Permissions are divided into seven main categories:

  • Support: Customer management, satisfaction, comments, and chat.
  • Management: Affiliate management and approval, metrics, subscription management, extensions, purchase recovery, and other options.
  • Content: Pixel settings, custom checkout page, promotional materials, offer and product management, public profile, link manager, and dynamic alternative pages.
  • Members Area (Hotmart Club): Community management, gamification, Club product management, combo management, customization of the Members Area, and product viewing. To add collaborators to help with Hotmart Club, check out the guidelines clicking here.
  • Developers: API integrations, documentation, and credentials.
  • Finance: Access to reports, receipts, withdrawals, statements, sales funnel, purchase email resending, refunds, revenue, and more.

Permissions are organized into profiles, which group different authorizations based on the collaborator’s role.

To create a profile in the Collaborators Center, click here.
  1. Log in to your Hotmart account at https://app.hotmart.com.
  2. On the left side menu, click Tools, then View all.
  3. Select Collaborators Center.
  4. Click Profiles.
  5. In the settings screen, select Create Profile.
  6. Expand the categories to see the available permissions.
  7. Choose the permissions you want to assign and click Save to complete the profile creation.

  1. Log in to your Hotmart account at  https://app.hotmart.com..
  2. On the left side menu, click Tools, then View all.
  3. Select Collaborators Center.
  4. Click Invite Collaborator.
  5. Enter the collaborator’s name and email, assign a profile, and click Next.
  6. You will be asked for your Electronic Signature. After entering it, click Continue. If you don’t remember it or haven’t created one yet, follow the steps in this article.
  7. An invitation will be sent to the collaborator, who must accept it to access the Collaborators Center.

When a collaborator is added, an invitation is sent. Access is only granted after the invitation is accepted.

  1. Log in to your Hotmart account at  https://app.hotmart.com.
  2. On the left side menu, click Tools, then View all.
  3. Select Collaborators Center.
  4. Click Access Collaborators Centers I Participate In.
  5. In the next screen click in Accept Invitation. If you have already accepted it, click in Access.
  6. The screen will open with the permissions assigned to your profile.
  7. You will see a blue bar at the top of the screen indicating that you are accessing the account through the Collaborators Center

    If you want to return to your own account, click Exit Collaborators Center on the blue bar.

 

 

How to Grant Content Management Permissions for a Course in Hotmart Club?

If you add collaborators to the Collaborators Center to help with content management and settings in Hotmart Club, you need to import them into the Members Area. Only after this step will they have permission to edit content, add lessons, reply to comments, etc.

To add a collaborator to your online course, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to Hotmart at https://app.hotmart.com.
  2. On the left side menu, click Products, then Members Area.
  3. Select the Members Area and the relevant product.
  4. Go to the Users tab.
  5. Click Import Users and choose Manually.
  6. Enter the user’s information.
  7. Select the role and the group to which the user will be added. The role must be Admin or Editor.
  8. Complete the settings and click Add User.

How Can I Edit an Existing Profile?
  1. Log in to Hotmart at https://app.hotmart.com.
  2. On the left side menu, click Tools, then View all.
  3. Select Collaborators Center.
  4. Click Profiles.
  5. Find the profile you want to edit, click Actions, then Edit.
  6. Make the necessary changes and save the settings.

Any changes you make will be automatically applied to all collaborators assigned to that profile.

Do I Need to Create a Profile for Each Collaborator?

Not necessarily. Profiles are created based on the permissions assigned to a collaborator. If a profile includes permissions that a specific collaborator shouldn’t have, you can edit the profile to remove them or create a new profile with the necessary permissions.

Can I Add a Collaborator to More Than One Profile?

No. Collaborators can only be assigned to one profile within the Collaborators Center.
