How do I configure the Google Ads Pixel in Hotmart?

The Google Ads Pixel allows you to track actions performed by users after they click on your ads, such as accessing the checkout page and completing purchases. With this integration in Hotmart, you can measure the performance of your campaigns, monitor events related to your sales, and use the data to optimize your advertising investments.

  2. In the left-hand menu, click Goals.
  3. Select Conversions.
  4. Click New conversion action.
  5. Choose Website.
  6. Enter your website domain and click Scan (when prompted by Google).
  7. Select Add a conversion action manually.

For sales made through Hotmart, we recommend that:

  • The conversion category is set to Purchase.
  • The conversion value uses different values for each conversion.

Once the setup is complete, Google Ads will display the conversion details.

You will need the following information:

  • Conversion ID.
  • Conversion Label.

These two pieces of information will be used when configuring the integration in Hotmart.

 

How do I configure the Google Ads Pixel in Hotmart?

After creating the conversion in Google Ads, follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to your Hotmart account at https://app.hotmart.com.
  2. In the left-hand menu, click Tools, then Show all.
  3. Search for Tracking Pixel.
  4. Choose the product you want to configure.
  5. Then, select Google Ads.
  6. Enter the conversion ID and click Continue.
  7. Select the event types you want to track. At this stage, carefully review the advanced settings as well. Then click Continue.
  8. To finish, click Save.

From that moment on, the events sent by Hotmart can be used by Google Ads to register your conversions.

 

How do I use my links in Google Ads campaigns?

When creating campaigns for Hotmart products, it is important to use your promotional links correctly:

  • In the ad's Final URL field, enter the page users should be directed to after clicking the ad, such as your sales page.
  • The Tracking template field should contain your Hotmart Hotlink.

This setup allows Google Ads to validate the destination of the ad and enables Hotmart to correctly identify the source of the sale.

 

How do I find my Hotlink?

To find your promotional links:

  1. Sign in to your Hotmart account at https://app.hotmart.com.
  2. Click Products, then My Products.
  3. Choose the desired product.
  4. Click Promotional Links.
  5. Copy the link you want to use in your campaign.

Both creators and affiliates can access their own links by following the same steps.

 

How do I check if the pixel is working?

After completing the setup, it is normal for the conversion to appear as pending or inactive in Google Ads. Google can only validate the configuration after a real conversion occurs or after it receives the first events sent by Hotmart.

For this reason, the initial conversion status does not necessarily indicate that there is an issue with the configuration. If you want to validate your Google tags, you can use tools provided by Google, such as Tag Assistant.
