When you purchase products with Hotmart, you have different ways to watch your courses—on your phone, tablet, computer, or TV.
In this article, we’ll show you how to watch your courses on TV. Enjoy your courses with the same experience as your favorite shows, either through the native Smart TV app or by mirroring your phone to the TV.
Only content hosted on Hotmart Club (Members Area) and with the Hotmart Video Player enabled can be played on the app. Other class content such as texts, live classes, quizzes, comments, supporting materials, or other formats like eBooks and live events can be accessed on a computer, tablet, or through the Hotmart app on your phone.
❯ Downloading and accessing your course on Smart TV
With the Hotmart app for Smart TV, you get another screen to watch the courses you purchased on our platform.
To download the app, go to your TV’s app store and search for the Hotmart app. Download the app for free.
After the download is complete, you can access your account by following the steps below:
- Open the app on yout TV.
- Log in with the email and password registered on the platform.
- Click Sign In or Reset Password if needed.
- Select your course and enjoy.
You can also log in using a QR Code. To do this, follow these steps:
- On the app home screen on your TV, click Use QR Code.
- Open the Hotmart app on your phone.
- On the home screen, tap the gear icon in the top right corner, then select QR Code.
- Point your camera at the code displayed on the TV.
- Stay on the page until the process is completed.
Important: the Hotmart app is only available for Samsung Tizen TVs (2017–2023), LG WebOS (2017–2021), or Android TV (Android 7.0–9.0). Depending on your TV’s operating system and update version, the Hotmart TV app might not be available for download or use on your Smart TV.
❯ Accessing your course on TV using Chromecast
Open the product on your phone and press play on the video you want to cast to your TV. Once the video starts, you’ll see the screen mirroring icon (this icon may vary depending on your phone’s operating system). Just tap it and select your Chromecast to start casting. ❯ Accessing your course on Apple TV or TVs compatible with AirPlay
If you use Apple TV or your Smart TV supports AirPlay, you can also mirror videos from the app.
- Open the Hotmart app on your mobile device;
- Open the product and press play on the video you want to mirror to your TV;
- Tap the screen sharing icon to select the device you want to cast to.
Important: casting content from the Hotmart app to a TV is only possible using the options mentioned above. Also, Hotmart does not provide support for issues on unsupported devices.
❯ Accessing your course on TV using a computer
If you don’t have access to any of the above options, you can still watch your videos on TV by connecting a laptop to your TV with an HDMI cable.
