Automatic Contact Management, also known as ListBoss, is the tool responsible for automatically capturing contacts who interact with your products on Hotmart. It identifies events such as purchases, access, and progress in content, and applies tags based on these interactions.
The integration between ListBoss and Hotmart Send is native and automatic, and is part of Hotmart’s all-in-one proposal, which brings together sales, delivery, and audience communication tools within a single ecosystem.

How does the integration between ListBoss and Hotmart Send work?
When you activate Hotmart Send, the integration with ListBoss is automatically enabled.
Once you have an approved product, two processes start working natively:
Automatic lead capture, which records contacts based on product interactions.
The creation of automatic segmentations, with standardized tag application.
These automatic flows work as the first level of organization for your contact base. They follow platform-defined rules, cannot be edited or removed, and serve as the foundation for using Hotmart Send and, if needed, creating more advanced custom segmentations.
How does Automatic lead capture work?
Automatic lead capture is a Hotmart Send feature integrated with ListBoss.
It automatically records data from people who interact with your products, without the need to create forms or landing pages.
Captured contacts receive automatic tags that represent specific events, such as cart abandonment, approved purchase, canceled purchase, and refund, among others.
These tags are applied automatically and follow standardized flows. They cannot be edited or removed, as they serve as the initial foundation for organizing your contact base.
Important: Automatic capture only records and organizes contacts. It does not send emails automatically. To send messages, you need to create Automations in Hotmart Send using these tags as triggers.
What are tags and segmentations in ListBoss?
Tags are identifiers applied to contacts based on recorded events.
They help organize your database and allow you to use this information in communication strategies. Segmentations, on the other hand, are rules that define when these tags should be applied to or removed from contacts, according to interactions with your products.

In ListBoss, there are two main types of segmentations:
Automatic segmentations, created by the system from Automatic Capture and cannot be edited.
Custom segmentations, which allow you to define specific rules to organize contacts according to your business strategy.
In custom segmentations, you can choose the event, conditions (when applicable), and the action to be executed in Hotmart Send, such as adding or removing tags.
How to create custom segmentations in ListBoss?
To create a custom segmentation, follow the steps below:
Access your Hotmart account through the link https://app.hotmart.com/.
In the side menu, click on Tools and then on Show all.
Search for Automatic Lead Management (ListBoss) and access the tool.
Choose the desired product or webinar and click on Create segmentation.
Configure the required information, such as segmentation name, provider (Hotmart Send), event, condition (when available), data to send, and action in Hotmart Send.
Review the information and click Save segmentation.
Activate the segmentation so it starts working automatically.
After activation, the segmentation will be applied whenever the configured event occurs.
Where can I view registered contacts and events?
Automatic Capture data can be accessed directly in Automatic Contact Management (ListBoss). To view this information:
Access your Hotmart account through the link https://app.hotmart.com/.
In the side menu, click on Tools and then on View all.
Search for Automatic Lead Management (ListBoss) and access the tool.
Select the desired product to view the dashboard.
If there are automatic segmentations configured for the product, they will be displayed on this screen. To track recorded events, access the History tab.
Additionally, it is also possible to identify automatically captured leads directly in Hotmart Send:
Access your Hotmart account through the link https://app.hotmart.com/.
In the side menu, click on Marketing and then on Email marketing.
Within Hotmart Send, go to Contacts and then Tags.
Select an Automatic tag to view the leads associated with it.
Automatically captured contacts appear with the AUTO label next to the email address.
