How can a Producer cancel a subscription purchased by a customer?

When you sell a subscription product, your customers may eventually contact you asking to cancel it. In this case, you have two options: proceed with the cancellation on their behalf or teach them how to do it themselves.

 

If you wish to teach them, you can send this article to your customers, which contains step-by-step instructions. If you wish to cancel the subscription for them, follow the steps below.  

 

We’ll give you two different paths to cancel a subscription for your customers:

 

First path:

  1. Log in to Hotmart
  2. In the left side menu, click on Sales;
  3. Then on Subscriptions. You'll see a list of your subscribers;
  4. Select the subscription you wish to cancel. To make it easier, you can use filters (on the right side of the page) to find a specific subscription.
  5. Click on the three dots on the right side and then click Cancel.
  6. Done! You have canceled the subscription.

 

Second path:

    1. Log in to Hotmart
    2. In the left side menu, click on Sales;
    3. Then on Subscriptions. You'll see a list of your subscribers;
    4. Click on the three dots on the right and then on Details;
    5. Then click Cancel Subscription.
  • Done!

 

You can also make cancellations in bulk. This means you can cancel many subscriptions at once:

 

  1. Log in to Hotmart
  2. In the left side menu, click on Sales;
  3. Then on Subscriptions. You'll see a list of your subscribers;
  4. Select all the subscriptions you wish to cancel.
  5. Click on Bulk Actions and then Cancel.
