Buying a ticket for an in-person event through Hotmart is a simple process that involves two main steps: checking in and generating the entry voucher.
Once the purchase is completed, we send a link to the email address used for the payment. Through this link, you can check in and enter the details of the person who will attend the event.
After confirming attendance, you will receive the voucher, which can be presented printed or on your phone on the day of the event.
I can’t find the email to check in. What should I do?
If you can’t find the email with the check-in link, you can also generate your ticket from your Hotmart account. To do this, follow the steps below:
- Access your account through the link consumer.hotmart.com.
- Find the event purchase.
- Click Product details.
- Click Generate ticket.
- On the new screen, enter the details of the person who will attend the event.
- Finish the check-in by clicking Generate ticket again.
- Done! Your ticket will be available for the event.
Can I change or transfer ticket ownership after check-in?
Yes. If you have already checked in but need to transfer the ticket to someone else, you must contact our support team.
To request the change, follow the steps below:
- Click Contact us at the end of this article.
- Select I’m a Buyer.
- Choose Help with ticket or event.
- Select Transfer ownership.
- Fill in the requested information and submit your request.
After that, our team will reply by email with a new check-in link. When you receive this email, click Check in now and enter the details of the new ticket holder.
After confirming the check-in, the voucher will be updated with the correct information.
How do I upgrade my ticket?
Ticket upgrades may be available when the event has different batches, with different benefits or areas. For example, if you bought a ticket for a general area and want to switch to a VIP area, it may be possible to make this change by paying only the difference between the amounts.
This option depends on the settings defined by the event Producer. When it is available, follow the steps below:
- Access your account through the link consumer.hotmart.com.
- On the My products page, find the event and click it.
- Click Upgrade ticket.
- Review the information about the batch available for upgrade and the price difference to be paid.
- Click Change to this batch.
- Read the terms displayed on the screen and confirm the change by clicking Yes.
- On the payment page, choose whether you want to use the same card from the first purchase or a new card.
- Click Buy now.
- After confirmation, you will receive an email to complete a new check-in.
