How to update my Hotmart Club version?

If you use Hotmart to host your courses, subscriptions, or online events but haven’t updated your Hotmart Club yet, you can update your product at any time.

Updating Hotmart Club is very simple and brings new customization options, gamification tools, and improvements in user management, without affecting the content or the settings already defined in your product. How to update my product to the new Hotmart Club?

To update your product to the new experience, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Hotmart account: https://app.hotmart.com.
  2. In the left-side menu, click Products, then My products.
  3. Find and select the online course, subscription, or online event you want to update.
  4. In your product dashboard, click on the Access course management button at the top right of the screen.
  5. On the new screen, click the Update now or Switch to New Club button at the top.
  6. Read the update details and confirm by clicking Confirm and update.

After the update, your product will be on the latest version of Hotmart Club, and all features will be available for configuration and customization. To explore all the possibilities available in your Club, check out this complete guide.

Important: The update to the current version can be made until April 11, 2025. After this date, the new Hotmart Club will be the only experience available. 

 

How to set up automatic redirection for students?

If your product hosted on Hotmart has already been updated to Hotmart Club, you can enable automatic redirection so that students access the new experience directly when clicking on the course link they already have.

For products updated from February 2025, this redirection will be enabled by default. If you updated your product before this date and want to configure this option, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your Hotmart account: https://app.hotmart.com.
  2. In the left-side menu, click Products, then Members area.
  3. Choose the members area of the migrated product.
  4. In the left-side menu, click Products, then select the product you want to set up.
  5. On the new screen, go to the Settings tab.
  6. In the Automatic redirection section, enable or disable it as needed.
  7. Click Save to confirm the change.

With this setting enabled, students who access the old version’s link will be automatically redirected to the latest version of Hotmart Club.

What happens to my content when I update Hotmart Club?

The content will be migrated automatically, without changes. This includes modules, lessons, groups, videos, captions, additional materials, and quizzes. Additionally, login settings, users, collaborators, administrators, logo, and primary color will also be maintained.

Will my students lose access to the course after the update?

No. All students will continue to have access to the course as usual, and their progress will be preserved. They will be redirected to the new experience without needing to take any action.

What changes in the customization options for the members area?
