How the sales report works

Tracking sales is crucial to your business’ success, strategy, and health. With that in mind, Hotmart provides a full sales report, allowing you to track your business and tinker with strategies to go further.

The sales report is your sales history containing detailed information about transactions, fees, taxes, commissions, products, and buyers. It presents the information already gathered from the platform in a single exported document with in-depth details.

This report can be found by logging into your Hotmart account and accessing Sales then selecting Overview in the left side menu.

Currently, the sales report can be exported in two different templates:

  • Standard Template: This template provides basic, general information gathered up to the moment of exporting.
  • Detailed template: This template provides, beyond the basic information, more details about payment methods and currency conversion.

These templates can be exported in two formats:

  • CSV: For automated spreadsheets
  • XLS: For manual searches

What’s the difference between the standard and the detailed template?

Both report templates provide general information about your transactions, such as purchase and product info, payment methods, currencies and fees. The standard template is the platform’s default template, with its usual structure and each transaction’s general information. The detailed template is organized differently, with the same data as the standard template, but with additional columns and more in-depth information.

The columns in the detailed model are as follows:

  • Price Name: The name of the product offer registered on the platform
  • Local taxes: The amount paid in local taxes, if any, collected by Hotmart
  • Commission currency: The currency of the commission paid to the parties involved in the sale
  • Commission (Gross amount - no taxes): The gross amount of the commission already converted into the payment’s currency, without splitting it between the parties involved and taxes
  • My commission: The amount of commission received by the user who exported the report
  • Affiliate commission: The amount of the affiliate's commission already converted into the payment’s currency, with the fees and commissions of the parties involved already deducted
  • Co-producer commission: The amount of the co-producer's commission already converted into the payment’s currency, with the fees and commissions of the parties involved already deducted
  • Fee currency: The currency of the fees that will be deducted
  • Processing fee: The amount of Hotmart's fee already in the commission’s currency, which will be deducted from the processed gross amount.
  • Streaming rate: The fee for the Hotmart Player streaming service, when used.
  • Other fees: The aggregate amount of all other fees, which may be levied on the processed gross amount. For example: Hotmart UmPorCento.
