If you want to promote digital products and earn commissions from sales, the first step is to become an Affiliate of a product available on Hotmart.
In this article, you'll learn how to enable your account to become an Affiliate, find products in the Affiliate Marketplace, request an affiliation, and track the status of your requests.
Before requesting an affiliation
To become an Affiliate of a product, you need to have a Hotmart account. If you don't have one yet, create your account for free.

How do I find a product to promote?
Once your account is ready, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Hotmart account at https://app.hotmart.com/.
- From the left-hand menu, click Products > Affiliate to a product.
- Use the available filters to find products by category or other criteria.
- Click the product you want to promote.
On the product page, you can review important information before requesting affiliation, including:
- commission percentage;
- Affiliate Program rules;
- product information;
- other products from the same Creator;
- promotion guidelines, when provided by the Creator.
How do I request an affiliation?
After choosing a product, the affiliation process will depend on the rules defined by the Creator.
How do I track my affiliation requests?
If you've requested affiliation for products that require approval, follow these steps to check the status of your requests:
- Log in to your Hotmart account.
- From the left-hand menu, click Products > My Products.
- Select the I'm an Affiliate section.
- Click the Requested tab.
On this page, you can check the status of your requests and cancel any requests you no longer wish to keep.
What happens after my affiliation is approved?
Once your affiliation is approved, your Promotion Links will become available so you can start promoting the product.
