Free registration allows you to offer a sample of your product so that your potential customer can access some of the content and boost their confidence when buying the product.
To set it up, follow the steps below:
- Log into Hotmart by clicking here;
- Click the dots icon in the upper-right corner;
- Go to Access Course Management;
- Open your members area;
- Click on Products on the side menu and select the product you want;
- Then click on the Free Registration tab;
- Now, check the Enable Free Access? option and set up the sales page with Description, Media, and Price;
- Done! Now your potential customers can register for free.
You can share the link to your members area with your potential buyers, and they can register for free.
After registering and accessing the course, potential customers will be able to view all the topics covered by the course, but will only have access to the lessons you've made available for free.
In addition, you have full control of free and paid students. So, after registering, students accessing for free are registered under the Free category. Use segmentation to plan different campaigns for your audiences.
Remember that you can set up a free module using Hotmart Club or the course management feature. Below you can see how to release specific content for free if you're using the course manager.
Follow the steps to set it up:
- Access your Hotmart account at: https://app-vlc.hotmart.com/login
- In the left side menu, click I'm a Creator.
- Click on the product of your choice
- Then click on Access Course Management
- In the left side menu, click Settings
- Click Allow free signup
After you set up free registration, the Try for free label will be shown in your product banner in the Club display, allowing anyone to create an account to access your members area. Your content will appear with a lock icon for these users, except for any free modules you register in the members area.
