When using Hotmart Video Player, our streaming service, you can upload your videos, subtitle, and translate the content into different languages. More than that, you can download the subtitles and change what you want.
To learn how to do this, check out the step-by-step below:
- Access your Hotmart account using the link: https://app.hotmart.com/login
- At the side menu, select Products
- Select Hotmart Club
- At the left side menu, click Products
- Select the desired product
- In the content you want the caption for, click Edit
- On the new screen, click on the content with the Hotmart Video Player that you want
- Choose Download Subtitle
- Once the process is complete, the Download Subtitles option will appear. Click on it and wait for it to download
- Then, open the file and make the necessary changes. Remember that the file will open for you with the correct timing of each excerpt, as we have already synchronized the speech and subtitles. Look at the example below:
So, just be careful when making changes so that the speech does not become unsynchronized.
Let’s assume the caption is “How to create an ad copy for launches.” If you want to change it to “How to create an amazing ad copy for digital releases,” be aware that you are bulking up the content and the video may be out of sync.
