How does the Sales Report work?

The Sales Report brings together all the information about the transactions completed through Hotmart in a single file. You can use it to review products, buyers, payments, fees, taxes, commissions, and revenue, as well as export this data for reporting, reconciliation, and internal analysis.

In this article, you'll learn about the available report models, how to export them, and what each field in the report means.

Which report models are available?

The Sales Report can be exported in two different models:

Standard Model: displays the main information about each transaction, including purchase details, product information, buyer details, payment method, currency, and applicable fees.

Detailed Model: includes all the information available in the Standard Model, plus additional fields related to revenue, currency conversion, payout distribution, fees, and taxes. This model is recommended for users who need more comprehensive financial information.

Both report models can be exported in the following formats:

  • CSV: recommended for importing data into spreadsheets or other analysis tools.
  • XLS: recommended for reviewing and analyzing data directly in spreadsheet software.

What's the difference between the Standard Model and the Detailed Model?

Both report models include information about transactions completed through Hotmart, such as purchase details, product information, buyer details, payment methods, currencies, and transaction status.

The Detailed Model expands on this information by adding fields related to revenue, currency conversion, fees, taxes, and payout distribution between the participants involved in the transaction.

In the How do I understand the report data? section, you'll find a table explaining every field available in both report models.

How do I export the Sales Report?

To export the report:

  1. Sign in to your Hotmart account at app.hotmart.com.
  2. From the left-hand menu, click Sales > My Sales.
  3. Click Export.
  4. Choose the report model (Standard or Detailed).
  5. Select the file format (CSV or XLS).
  6. If needed, apply filters such as date range, transaction status, or tax collection before exporting the report.
  7. Confirm the export.

If you want to view only the sales subject to tax reporting, apply the Tax collection > Sales to declare filter before exporting the report.

Important: The Sales Report is intended for informational purposes only and is not a tax document. If you need to access invoices issued by Hotmart, refer to the article about the Invoice Download Report.
