How to setup the Product Display on Hotmart Club?

The Hotmart Club Product Display is the main page of your members area. It showcases your products so that all your customers can see what you offer, creating new sales opportunities for your digital business.

In this article, we’ll walk you through the main setup options for the product display, including how to choose which products and prices to show, configure sections, and customize the display to make it more appealing.

Note: To make the configurations described here, you need to have a members area created. If you haven’t done that yet, check out the step-by-step guide in this article.

 

How to choose the products and offers shown on the Product Display?

The Product Display on Hotmart Club lets you customize which products and offers appear on the main page of your members area. You can also set exclusive prices and conditions for different audiences, like existing members or new customers.

To enable product and offer display, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Hotmart account at https://app.hotmart.com.
  2. In the side menu, click Products, then select Members area.
  3. Click on the members area where you want to configure the product display.
  4. In the left-hand menu, click Products.
  5. Select the desired product and go to the Product display tab.
  6. Enable the option Showcase this product on the display? by toggling the switch to the right.
  7. To set the price shown in the display, click the arrow icon to the right in the Set price and discount by audience section.
  8. On the price settings screen, configure these options:
    • Change the active price: Toggle the switch to the right to adjust the price shown on the display. Then, select the desired offer.
    • Hide price: Toggle the switch to the right if you prefer not to show the product price.
    • Enable discount for students: Activate this option and define the discount percentage for current members.
    • Enable discount for non-students: Activate this option and set the discount percentage for new customers.
  9. Once you’ve finished configuring, click Save in the upper-right corner of the screen.

Remember: You can’t include draft products in your product display. The product must have a completed registration and active sales. 

If the option to set the price doesn’t appear, it may be because the free registration setting is enabled for the product. To fix this, go to the Free registration tab, disable the option Enable free registration?, and save the changes. Then return to the Product display tab and follow the steps above.

 

How to customize the sections of the Product Display?

Organizing the sections of your Product Display on Hotmart Club is a great way to provide a more intuitive and personalized experience for your customers. This feature lets you showcase products dynamically within the members area.

There are three default sections on the product display:

  • Keep watching: Displays lessons the customer hasn’t finished yet.
  • My purchases: Groups the products the customer has purchased that belong to this members area.
  • Products for sale: Shows the products enabled to appear in the display.

You can also create up to 9 custom sections to better serve your audience and strategically organize your content.

To configure custom sections, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Hotmart account at https://app.hotmart.com.
  2. In the side menu, click Products and then Members area.
  3. Select the members area where you want to configure the sections.
  4. In the left-hand menu, click Customization.
  5. Go to Sections in the customization menu.
  6. At the bottom of the screen, click Create section.
  7. Choose the type of section: Products, Trails, or Modules.
  8. Enter a name for your section (e.g., "Featured" or "Latest Releases") and select the cover format (horizontal or vertical).
  9. Link up to 12 products by clicking Link to section.

To rearrange sections, go to the sections screen, click the "=" icon for the section you want to move, and drag it to the desired position.

 

How to enable the Sales Page on the Product Display?

Enable the Hotmart Club sales page to display products for sale directly in your members area. Once activated, the sales page opens without requiring a new browser tab, and payment information is automatically filled in, simplifying the purchase process. Frequently Asked Questions

How can I hide a product from the product display?

You can hide a product from your product display by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your Hotmart account at https://app.hotmart.com.
  2. In the side menu, click Products and then Members area.
  3. Select the members area where you want to configure the product display.
  4. In the left-hand menu, click Products.
  5. Choose the product you want to hide and go to the Product display tab.
  6. Disable the option Showcase this product on the display? by toggling the switch to the left.

Note: Hiding a product only removes it from the product carousel. Customers who have already purchased it will still be able to access it through the My products panel.

Why can’t I add a product to the product display?

To add a product to the display, make sure it meets these requirements:

  • Format: Products must be online courses, ebooks, or physical products (available in Brazil). Courses with subscriptions or recurring payments are not eligible.
  • Active sales: The product must have a completed registration and active sales. 
  • Sales page: Only products using Hotmart Club or Marketplace sales pages can be added.
Why can’t my customers see offers in the product display?

If customers can’t see offers, check these common scenarios:

  • Already purchased: Customers who have already bought a product won’t see its corresponding offer in the display.
  • Imported users: Customers imported directly into a course or members area won’t see the offers because they aren’t registered buyers.
Can I manage my groups and communities directly from the product display?

Yes! You can create and edit groups and communities directly from the consumer view. To manage your groups and communities:

  1. Access the product display link for your members area.
  2. Select the Creator option in the top navigation bar.
  3. In the left-hand menu, you’ll find all your existing groups and communities. To edit them, just click on the desired option.
