Organizing an online course means planning every detail, from defining the content to designing the learning experience. Hotmart Club, Hotmart’s integrated members area, allows you to structure your courses through modules that group lessons, videos, quizzes, and other resources, offering flexibility to meet your audience’s needs.
This article explains how to create and manage modules in your members area, helping you organize your content for your students.
How to create a module?
Modules are groups that organize the lessons and content of your course. They can be configured in different ways to fit your business strategy:
- Main module: Included in the course purchased by the student, with the option to offer it for free as a sample for potential buyers.
- Additional module: A complementary module for students who have already purchased the product, offered at no extra cost.
- Additional paid module: Exclusive content unlocked with an extra payment.
These options allow you to create personalized experiences and manage access by linking modules to specific groups. For more details, check out this article.

Tip: Don’t forget to publish the module to make it visible to your students. Select the module, check the box next to its title, and click Publish. To unpublish, repeat the same steps.
