How to change your buyers’ email

Now, you can quickly and easily change your buyers’ email directly on our platform, without needing to contact customer support.

Check out the step-by-step guide below:

  1. Access your Hotmart account here: https://app-vlc.hotmart.com/login
  2. On the side menu, find Sales and then click on Overview
  3. Find the buyer who wants to change their email and click on the three dots in the actions column, and then click on Details
  4. Next click on Customer’s Information
  5. Enter the new email and click Save
  6. Important: contact the buyer to let them know their email was changed

Important rules for changing emails:

  • Approved purchase status;
  • Buyer has never accessed the system;
  • New buyer email already registered on the platform;
  • Buyer does not have purchases from other creators;
  • Buyer is strictly a buyer, i.e., not a creator or affiliate;
  • The current date must be no more than 25 days after the purchase was made available to the buyer.
