How to issue a Self-Billing report

Managing the accounting data of your sales is important for the strategy and health of your business. That's why Hotmart offers you access to the Self Billing report, where you can find relevant information about the commissions you've received for sales made as a Producer, Co-Producer or Affiliate. There, you'll be able to get details of your sales organized by month and currency. This report is available exclusively for the scenarios below:

*Electronically Supplied Services (ESS), for tax purposes in the European Union, refer to services provided over the Internet or an automated electronic network that involve minimal human intervention (such as software downloads, online courses, or streaming services). All existing and new products will have ESS as the default setting. If you have any questions about defining the nature of your product, we recommend consulting your accountant or lawyer.

To generate your report, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your Hotmart account using the link https://app.hotmart.com/.
  2. In the left-hand side menu, select the Reports option
  3. In the search field on the right, search for Self Billing or click in General > Self Billing
  4. Use the Filter to define period, year and/or currency and click Apply filter. 
  5. Utilize o Filtro para definir período, ano e/ou moeda e clique em Aplicar filtro
  6. Click on Export to PDF to download the report.

 Important: this report has no tax value for Brazilian Producers, Co-Producers or Affiliates who sell abroad. If you don't fit into the above scenarios, check out this article to understand your tax responsibilities.  

Country-specific tax obligations must be met independently of this report. If you have any doubts, consult your accountant and/or lawyer.
