How to create a Learning track in Hotmart Club

A Learning track is a collection of lessons, usually on a specific subject, that creators can highlight to students.

With Learning tracks, you can pick specific modules and provide them to your customers on a special path. This increases student engagement and encourages them to make new purchases.

Important: To use learning track, your product must be hosted on Hotmart Club. Find out how to host it by clicking here.

Follow the instructions below to create a Learning track:

1. Log into Hotmart through this link: https://app.hotmart.com/
2. Click on Products on the left side menu
3. Click on Hotmart Club
4. Select your members area
5. On the side menu, click on Products
6. Click on the desired product
7. Select the Tracks tab 
8. Click on Create Track
9. Fill out the name and choose an image for the Track
10. Click Save
11. Now is the time to add content. Select the content that will be part of the track on the left side

Warning: 

• If a group cannot access a module in a track, this module will not be shown to them.
• You cannot change the order of modules and lessons within the track. 

After you create your tracks, you may choose the order in which they’ll appear to students. To do that, just drag and drop the track cards in the list. 

Tracks created in the course will appear in new sections named “Tracks”. 

Students may view the tracks both in the mobile app and on the desktop version.

Frequently Asked Questions about Learning Tracks:

Can a content (lesson or module) belong to more than one track at the same time?
Yes. A lesson or module can be added to more than one track at the same time.
The content added to the Learning Track is the same content present in the main content structure.

Will I be able to choose in which order the modules and lessons in the track appear other than the ordering of the main content?
No. The order of modules and lessons will follow the same order as the existing modules and lessons on the main content page. Assuming you added modules 3 and 7 to a track. Your students will always view module 3 above module 7 when viewing the content.
If you want module 7 to appear above module 3 within a track, you will need to change the order on the main listing, and this change will be replicated across all tracks where this content is present.

Will I need to configure which students will have access to each of the tracks?
No. Access to contents within the track will follow the settings already defined by the user when associating modules and lessons. In other words, if a student is in a class that has access to a module, they will also have access to that same module if it is added to a track. If a student does not have access to a module within a class, they will also not have access to that module within the track.

Can I see how the track looks before publishing it?
No. Only already published tracks will appear on the screen for students and in the "view as" button.

Can I create a Learning Track with just extra paid modules?
Yes. You can create a track only with extra paid modules. The student can purchase the modules separately.
