Since February 2024, we have been automatically transferring all your sales commissions available for withdrawal to the bank account you have registered on our platform. The transfer will be made without a withdrawal fee and will include commissions generated in any currency, with the exception of the Brazilian Real (BRL) for Brazilian users.
The new feature is part of the updates that took place to our business model since January 1, 2024, when we began acting as an agent for creators, representing them to buyers, co-producers and affiliates.
While the main changes to our business model will initially only apply to sales made to Colombia, the automatic transfer of your commissions available for withdrawal starts to take effect in February for all currencies (except BRL).
With this process, you now have the benefit of receiving your withdrawable commissions free of charge once a month. This new method does not exclude the possibility of requesting withdrawals on the platform yourself whenever you wish, following the current step-by-step process.
Important: the flow of local commissions made in Brazil, in Reais, remains the same, since they are already being made with Hotmart in an agent position. This means that creators, Co-Producers and Affiliates with Brazilian accounts who make local sales in Brazil, in Reais and in other currencies, will have access to commissions in a hybrid way:
- Via withdrawal request for domestic commissions in BRL, as is currently the case;
- Via automatic transfer for commissions in other currencies, with the possibility of requesting additional withdrawals at any time.
❯ What does Hotmart's business model update mean for my business?
In addition to the automatic, recurring and free receipt of your commissions available for withdrawal (except BRL), the update will give you more autonomy and flexibility to define your business strategies. ❯ Is there a minimum and maximum amount for the automatic payout?
The minimum amount for the automatic payout is 100 USD. The maximum transfer amount will be updated every month:
February: up to USD 2,000.00
March: up to USD 50,000.00
April: up to USD 200,000.00
May and subsequent months: any commission amount, above the minimum amount, available for withdrawal.
❯ When will my commissions available for withdrawal be transferred automatically?
The transfer will take place between Monday and Friday of the third week of each month. The time it takes for the money to appear on your bank statement will vary according to your bank.
❯ Can I choose not to receive the automatic payout for my commissions that are available for withdrawal??
The automatic monthly transfer of your commissions in currencies other than BRL available for withdrawal is not optional. Therefore, if you don't already have a bank account registered on the platform, it is essential that you register as soon as possible to avoid having your Hotmart account suspended. ❯ Can I receive my commissions that available for withdrawal in my Payoneer account?
Yes, if you already have an active Payoneer account linked to your Hotmart account, you will receive your commissions in USD there by default. You can keep the amount of your commissions in Payoneer for as long as you like. ❯ Can I change the bank account registered to receive my commissions that are available for withdrawal?
Yes, you can change the default bank account for receiving your commissions that are available for withdrawal at any time, according to your needs.
To change your bank account where you will receive your commissions, follow the instructions below:
- Access your account on the platform at the link: https://app-vlc.hotmart.com/login
- In the left-side menu, click Sales > Balance.
- In "Wallet", click on the Bank account for automatic transfer option
- Click Change Account
- Choose the desired account and click on Select Account
- After that, you can select in which currency you want to receive your commissions.
Remember that the exchange rate is updated daily based on the market.
❯ Will I be charged the withdrawal fee for other commission withdrawals I request?
Yes, only for the automatic monthly transfer of commissions that are available for withdrawal is free of charge, in line with the standard flow defined by Hotmart. If you wish to request additional withdrawals on the platform, you will still be charged the normal fee to cover bank charges. Remember that the automatic transfer only refers to commissions, in any currency, and does not include commissions in BRL.
❯ Will cocreators and affiliates also receive the commissions that are available for withdrawal automatically every month?
Yes, the new payment method applies to creators, coproducers and affiliates who have commissions available for withdrawal in currencies other than BRL.
