Can I change the country registered in my account?

If you want to share your knowledge on the digital market as a creator, co-creator, or affiliate at Hotmart, you need to register with our platform.

This helps keep the platform safer for everyone, while also making sure you receive your sales commissions.

After you’ve completed your registration, your country of origin is entered automatically according to your device’s IP address (computer, smartphone, tablet, etc.)

If your location does not correspond with the identified country, you will need to carry out the following steps depending on what you want to do.

I want to change my registration from another country to Brazil
I want to change my registration between other countries

I want to change my registration from Brazil to another country

First, to request the change:

  1. Withdraw all the your available funds in Brazilian Reais (BRL);
  2. Deactivate all your subscription products (if you have any students with active subscriptions, they need to be migrated to a new plan created after changing the country);
  3. If you are a co-creator or affiliate of a Brazilian product, you must end your partnerships and cancel your affiliation;
  4. The new country selected cannot be listed by OFAC.

Once that is done, just send us the following documents and information: 

  • Email used with the Hotmart account you want to change;
  • Proof of residence in the new country;
  • Official ID from the new country or some kind of document issued for foreign residents (the document must include full name, date of birth, and a photo, passports are not accepted);
  • A selfie holding the same official ID.

After the change, you will receive your commissions in euros or dollars. If you have any affiliates that sell your products, they will also receive their commissions in euros or dollars, even if they are located in Brazil. 

I want to change my registration from another country to Brazil

For us to check if it is possible to change another country to Brazil, we first need you to withdraw all your available funds in your Hotmart account.

Once that is done, send us the following documents and information: 

  • Email used with the Hotmart account you want to change;
  • Brazilian proof of residence;
  • Brazilian ID or Registro nacional de estrangeiros (RNE) and proof of CPF;
  • A selfie holding the official ID.

After the change, you will receive your commissions in Brazilian reais (BRL). If you have any affiliates that sell your products, they will also receive their commissions in Brazilian reais (BRL), even if they are located outside of Brazil. 

If you have any subscription products that were sold before the change of country, the respective commissions will continue being received in the same currency used at the moment of sale. 

Similarly, if you are a co-creator or affiliate of a product offered in euros or dollars, you will still receive your commissions in the same currency as the creator of the product and they will not be converted to reais.

I want to change my registration between other countries (international)

If you want to change your registered country (where Brazil is neither the original country nor the new country), first withdraw all your funds available in your Hotmart account.

Once that is done, send us the following documents and information:      

  • Email used with the Hotmart account you want to change;      
  • Proof of residence in the new country;        
  • Official ID of the country of residence;
  • A selfie holding the same official ID.
  • The new country selected cannot be listed by OFAC.
