How do I set up the X (Twitter) pixel on Hotmart?

X, formerly known as Twitter, allows you to track the actions visitors take after interacting with your ads. With this integration, you can measure conversions, create remarketing audiences, and optimize your campaigns based on the results you achieve.

In this article, you'll learn how to find your Pixel ID in the X advertising platform and how to set it up on Hotmart to start tracking your product's events.

 

How do I get the Pixel ID in X Ads?

Before setting up the pixel on Hotmart, you need to create a Website Tag in your X Ads account and copy the Pixel ID. To do this:

  1. Sign in to your X Ads account.
  2. From the menu, go to Tools > Events Manager.
  3. If you don't already have an event source, click Create event source (or Add event source, depending on your account).
  4. Select Website Tag as your event source.
  5. Complete the setup by following the instructions displayed on the screen.
  6. Once the setup is complete, copy the Pixel ID. This is the identifier you will use to configure the pixel on Hotmart.

Important: The X Ads interface may vary depending on your account language and platform updates. As a result, some menus may appear in English even if your account is set to another language. For more information, visit the official X Ads Help Center.

 

How do I set up the X pixel on Hotmart?

After copying the Pixel ID, complete the setup on Hotmart:

  1. Sign in to your Hotmart account at https://app.hotmart.com.
  2. In the left-hand menu, click Tools, then Show all.
  3. Select Tracking Pixel.
  4. Choose the product you want to configure.
  5. Click X.
  6. Paste the Pixel ID and click Continue.
  7. Select the events you want to track. On this screen, review the advanced settings before continuing. Then click Continue.
  8. To finish, click Save.

After saving the configuration, Hotmart will begin sending the events you selected during the setup process to X.

 

Frequently asked questions

I've set up the pixel, but no events are showing. What should I do?

Make sure the Pixel ID you entered is correct, the desired events were selected on Hotmart, and the pixel is active in your X Ads account. After the setup is complete, it may take some time before the first events appear in Events Manager.

Can I change the events after saving the configuration?

Yes. Simply go back to Tools > Tracking Pixel, edit the product configuration, update the events you want to track, and save your changes.
