How to associate a Hotmart Pages page as the sales page for my product?

If you’ve created a page in Hotmart Pages, you can use it as the main sales page for your product on Hotmart. With this setup, people who access your product link will first see the custom page you created before proceeding to checkout.

In this article, you’ll learn what’s required to use a Hotmart Pages page as a sales page, what to consider before making the association, how to configure it within the platform, and where to copy the correct link for promotion.

 

What does it mean to use a Hotmart Pages page as a sales page?

When you associate a page created in Hotmart Pages with a product, that page becomes the product’s official sales page. This allows you to customize how your offer is presented, adjust content, layout, and calls to action, while maintaining integration with Hotmart’s checkout.

This association does not change the payment process or how checkout works. It only defines which page is shown to visitors before the purchase step.

 

What do I need to know before associating the page with the product?

Before making the association, it’s important to consider a few points:

  • The page must be published in Hotmart Pages in order to be linked to the product.
  • If you change the page URL, you must also update this information in the product settings to ensure visitors access the correct address.
  • For Consulting-type products, it is recommended to use only the Marketplace page as the sales page, since scheduling must happen before redirecting to checkout. If you still choose to use a custom page, the call-to-action (CTA) button must direct users to the Marketplace page, not directly to checkout.

 

How do I associate a Hotmart Pages page with my product?

After confirming that the page is published, follow the steps below to associate it with your product:

  1. Access your Hotmart account at http://app.hotmart.com.
  2. In the side menu, click Products, then My Products.
  3. Select the product you want to associate with the page.
  4. In the product’s side menu, click Product Page.
  5. In the Customized with Hotmart Pages section, create a page using AI or choose the page you’ve already created.
  6. Then, click Set as the default.
  7. A confirmation message will appear on the screen.

From that moment on, the selected page will be used as the product’s sales page.

 

How do I copy the sales page link for promotion?

After associating the page with the product, you can copy the correct link for promotion directly from the product panel:

  1. In the product’s side menu, click Promotion Links.
  2. Locate the Sales Page option.
  3. Click Copy.

The generated link starts with go.hotmart and can be shared with your audience in campaigns, social media, or other promotional channels.

 

How do I set up Hotmart checkout on my sales page?

After associating your Hotmart Pages page with the product, you need to make sure the checkout is properly configured. Checkout is the payment page where the buyer enters their information and selects a payment method to complete the purchase.

The payment link is automatically generated when the product is created on Hotmart, but it only works after the product is approved.

In Hotmart Pages, you can add checkout in three different ways:

  • Using the CTA button with direct integration.
  • Manually inserting the link into the button.
  • Using the Checkout Widget, which allows users to complete the purchase without leaving the page.

❯ Insert checkout using the CTA button with direct integration

This is the simplest setup method. The Hotmart Pages editor automatically recognizes the products in your account, making it easier to link the checkout to the button.

To set it up:

  1. Access your Hotmart account at http://app.hotmart.com.
  2. In the side menu, click Marketing, then Page creator.
  3. Go to My Pages and click Edit on the desired page.
  4. In the editor, click the + icon to add structures and elements.
  5. Select Button and drag it to the desired location.
  6. Click the button to edit the text.
  7. In the Button action option, choose Hotmart payment link.
  8. Click Choose product and select the Product and Offer.
  9. Set whether the link will open in the same tab or a new tab.
  10. Customize the button style as needed.
  11. Publish the page to apply the changes.

This option reduces errors since the link is directly connected to the selected product.

❯ Insert the checkout link manually into the button

This option is recommended if you prefer to copy the link manually.

First, copy the checkout link:

  1. Access your Hotmart account at http://app.hotmart.com.
  2. In the side menu, click Products, then My Products.
  3. Select the desired product.
  4. Click Promotion Links.
  5. Copy the link from the Checkout Page option.

Then, add the link to the page:

  1. Access your Hotmart account at http://app.hotmart.com.
  2. In the side menu, click Marketing, then Page creator.
  3. Go to My Pages and click Edit.
  4. Add a Button element.
  5. In Button action, choose External link.
  6. Paste the checkout page link.
  7. Define the link behavior and publish the page.

This option requires attention to ensure the correct link is used.

❯ Set up the Checkout page Widget

The Checkout Widget allows payments to be completed directly on your page, without redirection.

Important: this setup is not compatible with offers that use Upsell.

To set it up:

  1. Access your Hotmart account at http://app.hotmart.com.
  2. In the side menu, click Products, then My Products.
  3. Select the desired product.
  4. Click Promotion Links.
  5. Copy the Checkout page Widget code, which includes two parts:
    • the script between <script> and </script>
    • the button code between <a> and </a>

In Hotmart Pages:

  1. Access your Hotmart account at http://app.hotmart.com.
  2. In the side menu, click Marketing, then Page creator.
  3. Go to My Pages and click Edit on the desired page.
  4. Go to Settings > Scripts.
  5. Enter a name for identification and paste the <script> snippet into the Body field.
  6. Save your changes.
  7. Add an HTML element to the page.
  8. Paste the <a> snippet into the HTML field.
  9. Publish the page.
