If a buyer requests to cancel their subscription, you can complete this process directly from your Hotmart account. When a subscription is canceled, future charges will no longer be generated, but charges that have already been processed won't be affected.
In this article, you'll learn how to cancel an individual subscription or multiple subscriptions at the same time.
Before canceling a subscription
When you cancel a subscription:
- future charges will no longer be generated;
- a subscription refund is only available for the initial purchase transaction, provided it's still within the guarantee period;
- buyers can also cancel their subscription through their own Hotmart account. If you prefer, share the article How do I cancel my subscription? with them.
How to cancel a subscription
- Sign in to your Hotmart account at https://app.hotmart.com/.
- From the left-hand menu, click Sales.
- Select Subscription Management.
- Under Reports, click Subscriptions.
- Find the subscription you want to cancel. If needed, use the filters to locate the buyer.
- Click the three-dot menu in the Actions column.
- Select Cancel.
That's it! The subscription will be canceled.
You can also cancel it from the Details page
You can view the subscription details before canceling it:
- In the subscription list, click the three-dot menu in the Actions column.
- Select Details.
- Click Cancel subscription.
How to cancel multiple subscriptions at the same time
If you need to cancel more than one subscription, you can use the bulk action feature.
- Go to Sales > Subscription Management > Subscriptions.
- Select the subscriptions you want to cancel.
- Click Bulk Actions.
- Select Cancel Subscriptions.
The selected subscriptions will be canceled all at once.
