The Product Page is a page generated by Hotmart to present your product to buyers. On this page, you can include important information, such as the product description, creator details, sales video, questions and answers, and integrated checkout.
In this article, you’ll learn what the Product Page is, how to create and configure a page generated by Hotmart, how to add an external page, and in which situations your Product Page may be deactivated.
What is Hotmart’s Product Page?
The Product Page is a page created within Hotmart to help present your product to buyers. On this page, you can display information such as:
product name, image, and description
information about the creator, including image, bio, or story
official social media profiles and contact channels
sales video hosted on YouTube or Vimeo
questions and answers section
checkout integrated into the page
In addition, Hotmart applies SEO (Search Engine Optimization) best practices to help your page gain relevance on search engines like Google and Bing, increasing the chances of your product being found.
The questions and answers section is also an important feature, as it helps clarify common questions and reduce visitors’ objections before purchase.
How to create and configure a Product Page
To create your Product Page, follow the steps below:
Access your Hotmart account using this link: https://app.hotmart.com
In the left-side menu, click Products.
Click My Products.
Choose the product you want.
In the left-side menu, click Product Page.
In the Marketplace section, click Edit.
Some information, such as Product Name, Product Image, Price, and Description for buyers, will already be filled in based on the details provided when the product was created. To change them, click Edit basic information, just below the description.
In the Content option, choose how the product information will be updated:
Updated automatically: the information registered in the Hotmart Members Area will automatically appear on the Product Page.
Updated manually: you’ll need to update the content manually whenever there are changes.
Just below, you’ll find the customization options:
Profile for buyers: add a description about yourself as the creator.
Standard product offer: define the price that will be displayed on the Product Page.
Buyers' reviews: enable or disable reviews and choose whether they will be displayed on the page.
Hotmart Marketplace: when you enable this option, your product will be visible on the Hotmart Marketplace.
Advanced options: edit the page author’s name and URL.
After completing the settings:
Read the Terms of Use.
Select the “I accept the Terms of Use” option.
At the bottom of the page, choose whether you want to save as draft, preview the draft, publish, preview the published page, or deactivate the page you created.
Product Page deactivation
The Product Page may be automatically deactivated in some situations, such as when:
the page was active, but the product has not had any sales in the last 90 days
the product is an online or in-person event that has already ended. In this case, the page is deactivated 30 days after the end date
the product has had sales closed, meaning the cart has been closed, for 90 consecutive days
the product linked to the Product Page has been deleted
Pages deactivated for these reasons can be manually reactivated at any time.
To reactivate the page, go to Products > My Products, choose the product you want, click Product page, and in the Marketplace section, click Edit. Then, at the bottom of the page, select the option to publish the page.
How do I add an external page to my product?
If you prefer to use an external page, follow the steps below:
Access your Hotmart account using this link: https://app.hotmart.com.
In the left-side menu, click Products.
Click My Products.
Choose the product you want.
In the left-side menu, click Product Page.
In the External pages section, click Configure page.
