How to register my bank account for withdrawals outside of Brazil?

If you reside in a country other than Brazil, the process for registering a bank account also applies to you.

To start the registration process, you must have made your first sale on our platform and have all your account data approved. Once the sale occurs, the bank details form will become available for completion. Keep in mind that the form may vary depending on the country where the account is registered.

Important information:

  • Your bank account must be registered in the same country where you reside. It is not possible to register bank accounts from countries other than the one registered on the platform.
  • Your bank account must be registered under the same name and type (individual or legal entity) as your Hotmart account. If you need to change this information, check this article for more details.
  • If you need to change your documentation and have a balance in your account, you must withdraw all available funds before making any changes.


To register your bank account, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Hotmart account via the link https://app.hotmart.com/.
  2. In the upper right corner of the screen, click on your profile picture and select My account.
  3. Within My account, click on the Financial information tab and then select New account.
  4. As a security measure, confirm the password you use to access your Hotmart account.
  5. After confirming your password, you must enter the verification code sent to the email address registered in your Hotmart account. Remember to check your inbox, spam and junk mail.

At this point, you will need to fill out the bank account registration form. The required information may vary depending on the country and the type of account you have with Hotmart (individual or legal entity). 

Below are the possible scenarios. For more details, click on the option that matches your situation:

If you reside outside Brazil and your account is registered as an Individual
  1. In the registration form, fill in the Name of the Recipient field with the same information as your Hotmart account data.
  2. In the Account type field, enter the account type and number with up to 32 characters.
  3. Enter the BIC-SWIFT code.
  4. Confirm that the bank account belongs to the same holder as the Hotmart account and click Send account for approval.

After submission, our team will verify your account within 5 business days.

If you reside outside Brazil and your account is registered as a Legal Entity
  1. In the registration form, fill in the Name of the Recipient field with the same information as your Hotmart account data.
  2. In the Account type field, enter the account type and number with up to 32 characters.
  3. Enter the BIC-SWIFT code.
  4. In Bank statement, upload a clear image of a bank statement that shows the bank’s logo or name, your name, document, and account number.
    • Accepted documents include an income statement, account ownership certificate, or full bank statement (not just the header). Credit card images, deposit slips, or transfer receipts are not accepted.
  5. Confirm that the bank account belongs to the same holder as the Hotmart account and click Send account for approval.

After submission, our team will verify your account within 5 business days.

If you reside in Colombia

For users in Colombia, withdrawals can be made in Colombian Pesos (COP) or US Dollars (USD).

To register a bank account and withdraw your balance in COP, you will need an account that accepts COP and is listed in the local registration form. If your bank is not on the list or you prefer to receive in USD, you must register as an International Bank by clicking on the link above the Name of the Recipient field.

Once you’ve selected the currency and bank, complete the form as follows:

  1. In the registration form, fill in the Name of the Recipient field with the same information as your Hotmart account data.
  2. In the Account type field, enter the account type and number with up to 32 characters.
  3. Enter the BIC-SWIFT code.
  4. Confirm that the bank account belongs to the same holder as the Hotmart account and click Send account for approval.

After submission, our team will verify your account within 5 business days.

Important: If your account is registered as a Legal Entity, you must submit a clear image of a bank statement showing the bank’s logo or name, your name and ID, and the account number. Below, you can find some examples of accepted documents:

  • Income statement, account ownership certificate, or full bank statement (not just the header). Credit card images, deposit slips, or transfer receipts are not accepted.
If you reside in Mexico

For users residing in Mexico, withdrawals can be made in Mexican Pesos (MXN) or US Dollars (USD).

To register a bank account and withdraw your balance in MXN, complete the registration form. If you prefer to receive in USD, you must register as an International Bank by clicking the link next to the Bank field.

Once you’ve selected the currency and bank, complete the form as follows:

  1. After selecting the bank, enter the Account number and Name of the Recipient/Company name.
  2. Confirm that the bank account belongs to the same holder as the Hotmart account and click Send account for approval.

After submission, our team will verify your account within 5 business days.

Important: If your account is registered as a Legal Entity, you must submit a clear image of a bank statement showing the bank’s logo or name, your name and ID, and the account number. Below, you can find some examples of accepted documents:

  • Income statement, account ownership certificate, or full bank statement (not just the header). Credit card images, deposit slips, or transfer receipts are not accepted.

 

Important: If you need to change the registered bank account, you will have to delete it and register a new one. This is because it is not possible to edit a bank account that is already registered in your Hotmart account.

To delete a registered bank account, follow these steps:

  1. On the My account page, click on the Financial information tab.
  2. Find the account you want to delete, click on the three-dot menu under Actions, and select Remove.
  3. If you want to register a new account after deleting one, click on New account and follow the same steps as before.
