When you purchase a subscription product or choose to buy with a Smart Installment plan, you agree to make recurring payments to maintain access to the content. To ensure your access is not interrupted, it’s essential that payments are made within the established deadlines.
If, for any reason, the payment is not approved or processed correctly, access to the product will be automatically blocked. But don’t worry! To regain access, you just need to regularize the pending payment.
At Hotmart, you can easily do this using an alternative payment method. This gives you more flexibility, allowing you to settle the outstanding amount directly through your Hotmart account using your preferred payment method. This way, you maintain control over your purchases and ensure continuous access to the content you’ve acquired.
❯ To regularize your payments using an alternative payment method, follow the instructions below:
- Log in to your Hotmart account via this link: https://consumer.hotmart.com/.
- In the left-hand menu, click on My purchases.
- Find the product with the pending payment and click the button Order details.
- On the purchase details page, select Settle payment.
- Choose the payment method you want to use to settle the outstanding amount. The available methods may vary depending on the country selected during purchase, and may include:
-
- Credit card: When choosing this option, fill in the card details and click Pay.
- PIX and boleto (Brazil): If you made your purchase in Brazil, you might see these options. If you select one of these options, click Pay to generate the PIX/ boleto code and complete the payment through your bank’s app.
- Effecty (Colombia) and OXXO (Mexico): If you selected Colombia or Mexico when making your purchase, you might see these options to regularize your payment; however, they are currently unavailable.
- After payment confirmation, Hotmart’s system will automatically identify the transaction, and your access to the product will be restored.
Attention: Payment confirmation time may vary depending on the selected method and processing by your bank.
If the credit card payment is not processed correctly, we recommend contacting your bank to verify the reason for the rejection. If you need more information on why a payment might be rejected, check out this article.
If necessary, you can also change the payment method linked to the recurring payments of your subscription or Smart Installment, following the instructions in this article.
