Buying products through Hotmart is convenient and secure. Below, we will explain the steps to complete the information on the payment page when using credit or debit cards.
Note: Hotmart is a platform that sells and distributes digital content. Therefore, all registered products are available in digital formats, such as e-books, online courses, video lessons, subscription plans, among others.
When purchasing using a credit or debit card, the following information will be requested:
- Card number: a sequence of sixteen (16) numbers of your card. You must enter the numbers exactly as they appear on the front of the card.
- Cardholder Name: the name shown on the card. It may appear abbreviated or different from your ID; however, it's essential to write it exactly as it appears on the card for the purchase to be approved.
- Month and year: the month (MM) and year (YY) of the card's expiration, both with two digits. Make sure the card is still valid. If it's not, you'll need to contact your bank to issue a new card.
- CVV: sequence of three (3) or four (4) numbers that represents the card's security code. It's usually found on the back of the card and is a necessary code for making online purchases. Cards that are not enabled for online purchases may not have this number. If your card doesn't have it, check your bank's app for the option of a digital card, or inquire directly with your bank. If the Producer offers the option to pay in installments in your region, you will see this option after completing the card details. If you don’t see it available, you have the option to contact the Producer directly and ask if it is possible to enable installment payments on their payment page.
At the bottom of the payment page, you will find the Producer's contact information:
You just need to click on the Contact option, and you will be able to visualize the Producer's email address.
After you have filled in all the information, click on Buy now. If any of the data appears in red, it means that the information provided is incorrect. There may be a missing number or an invalid character. We suggest that you check what might be incorrect and try again.
